I had an eBay question if someone doesn’t mind helping me out. I I have over 160 perfect feedback on eBay, 100% positive rating. I sold a pair of shoes to a guy in Italy and I’ve never had any problems before selling or shipping to Int’l buyers. Now he filed a a dispute on PAYPAL saying he never received the item. I have the receipt in my hand of when I went to the post office to ship the shoes out, which was the very next day after he won the auction. He chose the First Class Mail Int’l option over the Express, so there was no tracking or insurance. Does it sound like I’ll be able to win this dispute? He has over 1000 positive feedback on eBay too so he seems legit as well. I just don’t know what happened to the shoes. And as per eBay guidelines, the seller is not responsible for items once they ship out right? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If you have the receipt, that’s all you need to be covered. They can still file the complaint though if they didn’t receive it.I’ve noticed many sellers refuse to ship to italy though.I’m not exactly sure why, maybe a corrupt postal system.

Check with the post office – there might be a small amount of insurance that you can claim. (for example – in Australia if a standard parcel goes missing you can claim upto $50).
Maybe in the future you should do what many do – and make insurance compulsory, but as for resolving this dispute- I’d detail all you have here to payal… I’m sure this situation comes up from time to time…

I was looking up auction info and luckily found this site. I discovered similar sites, like http://www.topflightauctionforms.com that help you run your very own live auctions but I was trying to figure out where to get the auction supplies.
